Up on the top of the Volcanoes there are a number of trail rides through the Parker Ranch. Most run one, two or four hours and may include cookouts, camping overnights, picnics, fishing and more. From high on the mountains you can see other Hawaiian volcanoes -- five in all -- and you should expect to bundle up in the morning. Ironwood Outfitters (808-885-4941) is one of several good choices.
