Hawaii's
tourists load up on tee and Aloha shirts, Muumuus, Koa wood
carving and various and crafts products fine and otherwise.
We'll overlook such dubious items as dashboard hula dancers,
cheap tee shirts and that epitome of trash Hawaiiana, the
cellophane hula skirt!
Kona Coffee, Macadamia Nuts, pineapples and flowers
are other areas of good value.
Factor in the cost of shops on Waikiki's Kalakaua Ave
or Lahaina's Front Street and it's easy to see that the best
buys may be outside the major tourist centers like Waikiki
or Princeville Resort.
Such is also the case for the condo crew who shop for
groceries. |
