Admission is free at the Contemporary Museum every third Thursday of the month. 

Drive mauka (toward the mountains) along Punahou Street. Turn left on Nehoa Street. Then make a right on Makiki Street. At your first intersection, turn left at the fork in the road and follow up the hill (about a mile). The museum entrance will be on your right. 

If you're coming by bus, take the #15 to Makiki Heights Drive.
